The brewery

All our beer is brewed here in the bar by Chrigl. Having worked in London for a while he decided on a career change and started working at The Kernel Brewery in Bermondsey. Learning and honing his brewing skills so that he can now act out his dream… making beer and skiing.

We are open for you to enjoy beer and food from 16:00 – 24:00 every day.

Fresh food

We want to make nourishing food with fresh ingredients, sourcing as much as possible from local producers. This means that the menu will be simple and seasonal, with hearty dishes for both carnivores and vegetarians. Get in touch or come by if you want to know what we have on.

Locally-sourced food

Head chef Matthew Stone likes deconstructing dishes and building them from raw ingredients….which means….well….it means everything is homemade, from the buns to the sauces to our home-pickled pickles. The menu will satisfy meat-lovers and vegans alike. Menus to be posted soon, but expect burgers, gumbo and several vegetarian  starters.
