Fresh beer

Beer is best enjoyed fresh. Brewing locally and on a small scale allows us to make styles that big beer corporations find difficult to mass produce. We have designed our brewery to give us the flexibility to brew new and old beer styles ranging from American IPAs to malty English ales to traditional French and German styles. There's nothing like a flavoursome craft beer after a day in the mountains.

the brewery

all our beer is brewed here in-house by Chrigl. originally brewing in London at The Kernel Brewery in Bermondsey, he made the decision to bring better beer to the mountains.

we are open for you to enjoy beer and food from 16:00 – 23:30 every day over the winter season (for lunch also over the summer)

Fresh food

We want to make nourishing food with fresh ingredients, sourcing as much as possible from local producers. This means that the menu will be simple and seasonal, with hearty dishes for both carnivores and vegetarians, such as pulled pork and mushroom pie. Locally-sourced food

When he’s not in the kitchen, head chef Matthew Stone spends his time ripping sick lines (deconstructing dishes and building them from raw ingredients….which means….well….it means homemade kimchi!) how to ) The menu ranges from vegan superfood burgers to pork belly ramen and bibimbaps.

the Bec Jaune is owned and run by Chrigl Luthy and Matthew Stone, who are as passionate about the quality of their food and beer as they are about their skiing. They're at the restaurant almost every night so be sure to say hi when you drop in!
